don't think i've written about ah chew's desserts at liang seah street. was introduced to this traditional chinese desserts shop by doris and eric.it has since expanded from 1 shop unit to 2, making it easier to get a table. although peak hours should still be avoided. grab a table, decide what you want and order at the cashier.
i usually stick to the traditional ones like almond paste, black sesame paste and steamed egg with milk and ginger juice. it's cheap and good!do drop by if you're around bugis junction. :)
